about Baxterlands

Pop Baxter Owned California Hot Springs for many years, and most of us had the opportunity to enjoy its beauty and serenity. The Tom Baxter Family recently purchased 24 acres of unspoiled California Hot Springs land. Part of a former homestead, the property has never been developed and is rich with wildlife. 500 feet of Deer Creek flows year round through the front third of the property. The land is peppered with hundreds of Oaks, Pines, Sycamores, Poplar and Birch trees.

It is our intention to build an access road to the back of the property and someday build an eco friendly cabin that will blend with the natural surroundings. This site is initially dedicated to provide updates about our progress and the adventures we intend to have relaxing in this beautiful part of the Sequoias.
